Congressional Briefing on Counterfeit Prescription Drugs

Congressmen Mike Rogers (R-MI) and Gene Green (D-TX) sponsored a congressional briefing to discuss the growing threat of counterfeit prescription medications and promote their new legislation designed to combat the proliferation of fake medicines. Also present were representatives from the pharmaceutical industry and the national association representing state boards of pharmacy who discussed the problems and threats of counterfeit prescription drugs.
